 RHEINZINK® Material

RHEINZINK material has always impressed with its outstanding processing properties, extraordinary durability and exemplary ecological compatibility -  an ideal, weather-resistant and stable material for high-quality roofing, facade cladding and roof drainage. Over time, RHEINZINK-tianium zinc forms what looks like an even, non-structured protective layer of basic zinc carbonate, the so-called patina. This patina, caused by weathering, produces the high corrosion resistance which guarantees that RHEINZINK-products require no maintenance throughout their life.

RHEINZINK® "Preweathering"

For application in fields which require the "ready-made" look of the patinated RHEINZINK-surface from the beginning,  RHEINZINK has developed the "preweathering" technique. This worldwide exclusive procedure allows the surface look to be controlled. The colour and structure of the surface is similar to one which has been weathered naturally.  Since "preweathering" does not involve coating, the elementary properties of zinc are not affected in any way. Natural weathering begins just the same as in highly polished material and then the protective patina develops in just the same way.

Continued Improvement

With an innovative organic finish, the transportation, storage and processing properties of the  "preweathered" surface version has undergone further improvement.  It receives the temporary protective film "pro", which, for the most part, prevents unwanted fingerprints from appearing on the material.

RHEINZINK®-Roof Drainage System

RHEINZINK-"preweathered pro blue-grey" is the "wonderful" alternative to the bright-rolled surface and the source material for the high-quality roof drainage products. In conjunction with the superior quality of the material, permanent production checks, and compliance with the strictest manufacturing limits, guarantee that all products of the RHEINZINK roof drainage programme are fully functional and maintenance-free.  Based on a perfect fit and compatibility of the system parts, the RHEINZINK-product assortment also offers the assurance of preserving a perfectly matched concept, from one source and one type of material. 

Of course, we also offer our roof drainage system in the conventional RHEINZINK-bright-rolled and the new RHEINZINK-"preweathered pro graphite-grey"* surface quality.
